Her name is Ada, the founder of The Curd Collective (formerly known as Ada’s Cheese Club). She is celebrating her 25th birthday this year, and, in a twist of fate, has decided to reopen membership exclusively to her beloved family. Hi! I’m Ada. this is my Cheese Club and childhood dream. You’ve probably heard of nerds. You know, those people who geek over their obsession. Well, what better name for a cheese nerd than “curd.” So that’s me, and if you’re one too, welcome to the collective!
UNVEILING THE CHEESY DELIGHTS
Ada's love for cheese extends far beyond the realm of grilled cheese sandwiches and macaroni and cheese. She seeks to illuminate the wondrous possibilities that lie within the world of cheese. Imagine a delectable cheese tray adorned with an array of captivating flavors or the euphoria of dipping into a velvety fondue. Ada knows the secrets of pairing feta with a crisp salad, gorgonzola enhancing a juicy steak, or the tantalizing allure of gouda or fontina in a heavenly cream sauce. THE CHEESE STANDS ALONE
In her early years, Ada donned a Kaukana Cheese t-shirt, advertising her cheese club's existence to her classmates. Her membership drive yielded so many members that all other clubs at the school were shut down. Parents held a special PTA meeting in an attempt to convince the principal to allow adult members to join the club. Ada brought a deep appreciation to hundreds of students and their families for the 7 distinct flavors and the 72 aromatic wonders of cheese. Each year on her birthday, she delightedd her peers with a delectable cheese soufflé. Her passion of becoming a Cheeseologist was realized at aa young age.
Throughout her remarkable cheese journey, Ada's family admired her, knowing Ada was capable of anything. Their unwavering support and love fueled her determination to explore cheese beyond its boundaries. Now, on her 25th birthday, Ada has decided to reopen her Cheese Club exclusively for her cherished family. Together they can indulge in the captivating world of cheese alongside the one who has cherished it for so long. As a Curd in Ada's Cheese Club, we have the opportunity to share mouthwatering photos of cheesy meals, exchange divine cheese recipes, and immerse ourselves in the whimsical world of cheese crafts. Pictured above is the Curd Collective’s Board of Directors at their annual meeting. It is their practice to determine the new Chairman by elimination. The last Curd who remains conscious takes the reins for the coming year.
