You Are Loved
Some of the best moments of my life have been unexpected. Aside from the pure delight they provide, these moments are reminders a surprise might life me to a state of overflowing happiness in any second. The first happiness is being cherished, and the lasting happiness is reliving it every time I light the candle. These moments connect us, encourage us, and restore us.
Mollie was on an errand run with her two youngest daughters in tow. Since she lives our in the country now and lunch was late, they ran through a drive-through, and rang us up to see if they could picnic at an appropriate social distance in our backyard. “Of course,” my heart shouted. “ I would love that.”
Little did I know there was a super-duper surprise in store for me. A candle that carried a most important message ever, accompanied by three fancy, little thank-you cards.
