“Like everyone else that is blessed to receive them, every year, our most anticipated gift is Busia’s cookies. Each one is a masterpiece of baking, made with love by hand using old world recipes from her mother who immigrated from Poland. There are all sorts of tricks and techniques that have now been passed down to grandddaughters. For a cookie love like me, they are one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
