Stupid Granny | Her Creepy Crafternoon
The kids had a pretty spooky time at Granny's today. They made scary spiders out of pipe cleaners. They were a little furry which made them more realistic. Then they each drew haunted houses and stuck lots of Halloween ghosts, goblins, spiders, and other frightful stickers in the windows and hiding places.
Their final craft was to cut out a pumpkin shape they drew on orange paper and make it into a jack-o-lantern with felt. (Lilly had many tries because her pumpkins always ended up so little). There were lots of fun pieces for faces, hats, weapons and decorations: pirates, mummies, Frankenstein, monsters, princesses, and witches.
Then they had carrot cake that Lilly decorated. There were three frosting carrots on top. She smoothed them to make them look like pumpkins. Then she put plastic spiders on it.
I tasted some cake they left on their plate and threw in the garbage. The cake was super tasty and Granny said they could have seconds because it was only one layer high. Granny says she will do a special post of Lilly because her cake turned out so horrible and scary.
They thought they saw me fly by. The kids started yelling, “There’s Ugly Bugly.” So I landed on the school roof and hid behind the chimney.
I swiped this page from Granny’s scrapbook so I can remember how creepy their crafts were. So creepy!
How come she has all the fun?
I am going to have a Creepy Crafternoon with my flying monkeys.
