Each year, when all of France celebrates the beginning of their liberation on Bastille Day, we celebrate the beginning of our creative liberation on Les Coccinelles Poetry Day. Les Coccinelle is how you say “The Ladybugs” in French. We don our berets and head for a sidewalk cafe or cozy coffee shop to enjoy a croissant with strawberry jam, speak with a French accent, and write some fancy poetry. It is so very much fun.
