I AM NOT THANKFUL

I hate it when Halloween time is over. It is my favorite time of year. Then comes stupid Thanksgiving. I am not thankful. Why do I need Thanksgiving. Look at this stupid Thanksgiving plate. There is a stupid turkey on it. The turkey isn't even scary. That is not fun. It is boring. No zombies. No skeletons. No crows. No witches. I miss Halloween already. I am taking a vacation to Witch Land with Ickity Lickity. See ya later.

OK. WAIT. I AM THANKFUL

It has been lovely to be friends with children like Roland, Presley, Lilly, and sometimes Kallie and Jaspir and Ada. They are the best part of my life.

I am going to make pumpkin pie with lots of whip cream and invite my evil monkey and Ickity Lickity to Thanksgiving dinner. Then we will go around the table and say what we are thankful for.

Icky Lickity will say "pickles" because that is what she is always grateful for.

My evil monkey will say "bananas and rats."

I will say, "my witch grandchildren because I love them."

It will be a Happy Thanksgiving.
