Potions | Frankencrispies
My sister, Ickity Lickity, and I just made these adorable, frightening rice crispy treats for our breakfast. You should try them. No magic needed.
I’ve told the police several times that I do not know the whereabouts of my flying monkey Bloot, the one who gave Granny a copy of my Potions Cookbook. But here is the recipe now in her possession which she is using recklessly to impress the kids.
THE STOLEN RECIPE
1. Just make your favorite rice krispy treat recipe and dye the melted marshmallow mixture green before adding the cereal. (If you forgot, paint some diluted food coloring on top like the kids did).
2. Cut the green rice krispies into rectangles.
3. Dip one end of the rectangle in melted chocolate or smear some chocolate frosting on the top for hair. Chocolate sprinkles make it look like curly hair, if you so desire.
4. You can use white frosting for the whites of the eyes and add pupils and a mouth with melted chocolate or dark frosting. Or, if you are smart, you can use candy eyes.
5. If you like the bolt-neck look, use white frosting to add a white chocolate chip to each side for the bolts. If you don’t like it, explain to me why not. It makes no sense.
These boys are so darn ugly, I always kiss them before I bite the top of their head off. Yum.
These treats are loaded with sugar to give any witch a great start to her day of evil. I am such a wonderful cook. The kids should come to my house to eat breakfast sometime.
