Tragic waste of potential.

Just a few names people have tried to give your Granny and Paw over the years. Even though other people try to give you their labels, you get to decide whether you wear them or not. 

And, sadly, the cruelest labels are often the ones we give ourselves. 

Let’s stop all that.

No more accepting negative talk. From anyone! Including ourself!   

Aside from feeling unworthy, it takes away motivation and wipes out the energy you need to move forward and make all that goodness fo yourself and the world.

I doubt you’ll ever shut people up - and you’ll probably never stop beating yourself up either. But, at the very least, you can set the record straight in your own head. 

Dirty hippie? No. Peace-loving hippie.
Draft-dodger? No. War protestor.
Know-it-all Bitch? No. Confident Leader.
Tragic waste of potential? No. Exactly Who I Need to Be Until I Decide to Be Something Else.

Nobody gets to write your life but you, so write it with kind and encouraging words.

Positive self-talk assures your path takes you toward the sun.
