Just Start!

I am a planner. I love everything about it. Some things in life are super hard and/or deeply complicated. They scare me. I don’t want to fail. So I plan.

But sometimes, I paralyze myself. Sometimes for years and years, like with my website. That was the last “planning” straw for this camel’s back. It finally convinced me of something I just didn’t want to believe…

You don’t need to work that hard! 

Rather than anguishing and micro-managing every possible future outcome — we can work on our courage instead. Be confident that there is a ton of stuff we can just figure out along the way. 

Sure, spend a little time on the decision.
Sure, do some basic planning.
But don’t overthink it.  
Quit worrying about failing. 
Accept you might fail and give it a try. 

I think most people are like me. They want to plan everything before they begin so they feel safe. But all that planning doesn’t make the future go better because you really have no idea what will happen. The future mostly can’t be planned.  

So believe it. You CAN figure it out as you go along. Just gather the basics you need to press “Start” and do it. 

If you want to feel safer - start small - but start!
