Live on Purpose
STORIES AND LESSONS FOR OUR GRANDCHILDREN
If I told you that your life would end at midnight, how would you spend your time? It’s a worthy question, and one you should ask yourself often.
Your Granny is a highly productive person. (Not bragging. Just true). I plan every single day and make adjustments as it unfolds. I have guarded priorities that I defend from interruptions and distractions. I have duties and obligations that require my attention. And, I have cherished time that is unstructured just waiting for me to fill it with my heart’s desire. My day is filled with habits and routines that protect my performance.
It only took me seventy years to get my process running as smoothly as it does. But it’s never too early to start hacking your life to manifest your dreams.
You create your life twice. Once in your mind, and once in your world. Start by simply asking yourself what one thing is that you can do to improve something in your life.
Examples
1. Today's one thing to make my finances better is to make a budget.
2. Today’s one thing to make my body healthier is to drink more water.
3. Today’s one thing to improve my relationships is to call Joe and offer some help.
4. Today’s one thing to improve my education is to write that paper for English.
5. Today’s one thing to improve my environment is to organize my bedroom closet.
It doesn’t matter if it’s big or small.
It matters that you name an action & its purpose.
It matters that you do it.
I love you,
Granny
